Quikk was created by Rare Inc. to make everyday journeys and deliveries easier and more affordable, while helping local businesses reach more customers and grow. These Terms of Service explain the services we provide, how upfront local-currency pricing works, and your commitments when using Quikk.
1. Contractual Relationship & Eligibility (18+)
These Terms of Service ("Terms") constitute a legally binding agreement between you and Rare Inc. governing your access to and use of QuikkBusiness (quikkbusiness.com) and related mobile applications. By accessing or using QuikkBusiness, you affirm that you are at least 18 years of age and have the legal capacity to enter into binding contracts in your jurisdiction.
2. Merchant Obligations, Commissions, Settlements & Catalog Accuracy
These Merchant Terms govern restaurants, cafés, supermarkets, retail stores, and licensed pharmacies operating digital storefronts on the QuikkBusiness platform.
- Three-Stage Partner Progression (Approved vs. Verified Blue Tick vs. Commission Collection): Stage 1 — Onboarding Approval grants access to the QuikkBusiness merchant portal and publishes your storefront on QuikkEats under All Stores. Stage 2 — Verified Partner (Blue Tick) is awarded separately upon completion of full KYB business registration, municipal health/pharmacy permit, and physical storefront verification, unlocking the official Blue Tick badge and listing under Verified Partners. Stage 3 — Commission Collection Desk eligibility requires both Stage 1 Onboarding Approval and Stage 2 KYB Verification.
- Catalog Accuracy, 18+ Age-Restricted Tagging & Prohibited In-Store Items: Merchants must maintain accurate item descriptions, allergen disclosures, and real-time stock status. Any age-restricted (18+) item must be flagged in the merchant catalog so mandatory photo ID verification is enforced at checkout and handover. In-store consumption items (such as shisha/hookah) may never be listed for online delivery.
- Order Acceptance, Auto-Busy (5 Unanswered Calls) & Emergency Pause: Merchants agree to accept or decline incoming orders promptly and apply tamper-evident seals before handing packages to verified QuikkEats couriers. If a storefront fails to answer 5 consecutive food order alerts, the platform automatically switches the store to Busy (Paused) until the merchant taps Re-Open Store in QuikkBusiness. Storefronts placed under an administrative Emergency Pause have their map pin and storefront hidden from customer discovery until resolved.
- Platform Commissions & Local-Currency Settlements: Quikk deducts the agreed platform commission rate (standard 15% for restaurants, 12% for supermarkets & pharmacies, 14% for retail stores) from gross completed order value, recorded against your local-currency commission ledger or settled to your verified bank, QuikkPay Wallet, or mobile money account with itemized tax statements.
3. Account Security, Unified Quikk ID & Acceptable Use
You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your phone OTP credentials and unified Quikk ID. You may not use automated scrapers, spoof GPS coordinates, submit fraudulent payment claims, or interfere with the security of quikk-console dispatch infrastructure.
4. Limitation of Liability & Governing Law
To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, Rare Inc. provides the QuikkBusiness digital platform on an "as-is" and "as-available" basis. These Terms are governed by the applicable laws and mandatory consumer protection regulations of your operating market.
