Community & Acceptable Use Policy
1. Purpose & Scope
The Quikk community is built on mutual respect, integrity, and safety. Whether you are a passenger booking a Boda, a customer ordering a meal, an independent driver navigating Juba streets, a delivery courier, or a neighborhood restaurant owner, you are an essential part of the Quikk ecosystem.
This Community & Acceptable Use Policy sets forth the mandatory standards of behavior expected of all participants. Violations threaten community trust and will result in disciplinary action up to permanent account termination.
2. Mutual Respect, Harassment & Non-Discrimination
Every person using the Quikk platform must be treated with basic human dignity and respect:
- Zero Tolerance for Violence: Any physical assault, aggressive confrontation, brandishing of weapons, or intentional damage to vehicles or restaurant premises is strictly prohibited.
- Zero Tolerance for Harassment & Sexual Misconduct: Sexual harassment, derogatory comments, explicit language, unwelcome physical contact, or unwanted post-trip communications will result in immediate permanent expulsion.
- Non-Discrimination: Refusing service, discriminating, or using hate speech based on race, ethnicity, nationality, religion, gender, disability, or clan identity is completely intolerable.
3. Anti-Fraud & Fake Activity
Integrity in transactions is fundamental to a cash-first ecosystem:
- Fake Accounts & Impersonation: Registering accounts under aliases, using someone else’s name, phone number, or photo, or impersonating Quikk administrative staff is prohibited.
- Fictitious Orders & Bookings: Submitting fake ride requests with no intention of traveling, or ordering meals with intent to drop without payment, harms partner livelihoods and will trigger immediate account blocks.
- Verification Bypass: Submitting altered, forged, or stolen driver licenses, vehicle logbooks, or commercial permits is a severe criminal offense and will be escalated to law enforcement.
4. Driver & Courier Account Sharing
Driver and courier accounts are strictly individual and non-transferable:
- Only the individual who completed the document onboarding and verification process may operate the registered vehicle and accept customer dispatches.
- Sub-contracting, loaning, renting, or sharing your driver account with family members, friends, or third parties is grounds for immediate, permanent deactivation.
- Passengers have the right to refuse any ride where the driver or vehicle does not match the details shown in the application.
5. Dangerous Driving & Reckless Conduct
Road safety in Juba is everyone's responsibility:
- No Intoxication: Operating a vehicle, riding a motorbike, or interacting with customers while under the influence of alcohol, drugs, or impairing substances is strictly barred.
- Motorbike Boda Standards: Drivers must provide a clean passenger helmet and enforce the mandatory one-passenger rule. Overloading bodas with multiple adult passengers is strictly disallowed.
- No Mobile Distractions: Drivers and riders must avoid handheld phone use, texting, or watching media while the vehicle is in motion.
6. Permitted, Restricted & Prohibited Goods Framework
To preserve community safety and regulatory integrity, all goods ordered, carried, transported, or delivered through Quikk must adhere to our tri-part product classification:
A. Generally Permitted Goods
Standard restaurant meals, groceries, fresh produce, non-alcoholic beverages, consumer goods, and ordinary retail parcels whose sale and movement are lawful.
B. Regulated & Age-Restricted Goods (18+)
Certain products require strict compliance with age thresholds and commercial licensing rules:
- Alcohol & Tobacco: Permitted only where lawfully licensed merchants sell to verified adult customers (18+) in accordance with South Sudanese law [LEGAL REVIEW REQUIRED — SOUTH SUDAN]. Mandatory age checks are enforced at handoff.
- Medicines & Health Supplies: General wellness items and over-the-counter products are permitted. Prescription-controlled medicines are strictly governed and may not be listed or distributed informally without regulatory licensing and registered pharmacist oversight [LEGAL REVIEW REQUIRED — PHARMACY/MEDICINE SALES].
- Adult Merchandise: Age-restricted retail items may be offered only where lawful, permitted by Quikk, sold by authorized vendors, and delivered to verified adults (18+).
C. Strictly Prohibited Goods
The Quikk platform may NEVER be used to transport, order, or deliver unlawful or hazardous items, including:
- Illicit narcotics, non-prescribed controlled pharmaceuticals, or illegal substances;
- Firearms, munitions, improvised explosives, fireworks, or weapons;
- Stolen property, uncertified contraband, or counterfeit consumer goods;
- Hazardous chemicals, flammable fuels, radioactive or toxic agents; and
- Live animals without certified commercial veterinary carrier authorization.
Couriers retain the absolute right and obligation to decline or abort any parcel or dispatch that appears suspicious, hazardous, unsealed, or contains prohibited items.
7. Platform & GPS Manipulation
- GPS Spoofing: Utilizing mock location software, emulator frameworks, or external spoofing devices to artificially alter coordinates or simulate trips is fraud.
- Rating Manipulation: Coercing passengers or customers into providing five-star ratings, or trading fake reviews with other partners, will result in review revocation and penalties.
- Fare Bargaining Bypass: Attempting to force passengers to pay above the upfront estimated cash fare without routing modifications violates our fare agreements.
8. Progressive Enforcement Framework
Quikk applies a transparent enforcement matrix based on the severity of the infraction:
Level 1: Formal Warning
Educational notice for minor issues (e.g., minor punctuality delays, missing change, low rating notifications).
Level 2: Feature Restriction
Temporary restriction on priority dispatching or ordering features pending compliance review.
Level 3: Suspension
Temporary account freeze (3 to 14 days) during formal safety or document audit investigations.
Level 4: Permanent Termination
Irrevocable deactivation for violence, sexual misconduct, fraud, weapon possession, or account sharing.
In cases of serious criminal conduct, Quikk reserves the right to preserve evidence and submit formal referrals to law enforcement authorities in South Sudan.
9. Reporting Violations
If you witness or experience behavior that violates this policy, report it immediately:
- In-App Support: Use the "Report Safety Concern" or "Order Problem" buttons in the app.
- Email:
Support@rareincorporated.com - Emergency Situations: In cases of imminent bodily danger, contact local police emergency services first, then alert Quikk support.
